Pilot's Handling Notes for the Fiat G.18V with Fiat A.80 RC41 engines
*********************************************************************
The two 1000hp Fiat A.74 RC42 engines drive constant speed airscrews. They have automated mixture controls and manually applied carb heat controls. Superchargers sustain that rated power up to 4100 metres. Each engine can deliver 1000hp for 'several' minutes for TOGA at any altitude. The engine cowl flaps and engine drag are under pilot control in this simulation.
AUTOMIXTURE - This engine has automixture in real life. Turn automixture ON in the FS9 realism screen before flight.
The manifold pressure gauges of this aircraft are calibrated in Kg/Cm^2 abbreviated C.
Maximum and default fuel load is 2,304 lbs of 87 Octane AVGAS.
Design cruise altitude is 5500 metres.
WARNING - This aircraft has no airframe de-icing NOT AUTHORISED FOR FLIGHT IN KNOWN ICING
